We are looking to hire an office manager to join our team. Manager will be responsible for overseeing the administrative activities of the organization and provide leadership, supervision and support to Star Nonemergent Transportation employees and clients. Candidate must have experience in nonemergency medical transportation.
Responsibilities:
Implement company culture, values and policies
Develop workforce strategies, to recruit and develop qualified candidates
Coordinate events focused on employee recognition and dedication
Advocate for employee retention and development
Oversee data entry and maintenance of employee records
Participate in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
Manage and improve operational practices
Track and forecast operational trends and analysis
Formalize policies and procedures in accordance to HR regulations
Collect payment information from the clients, accept and enter incoming rides into the database
Manage and perform day to day duties
Dispatch if needs arises
Answer phone calls
Oversee daily scheduling
Evaluate employee job performance, counsel and appropriately discipline as necessary
Run Payroll
Oversee Billing/Invoices
Must be available to work or provide on call service when needed
Supervise and enforce completion of daily inspection sheets
Qualifications:
Previous experience in administrative services and duties in nonemergency medical transportation
Experience in conflict resolution
Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment laws
Ability to build rapport with all employees
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong leadership qualities
Able to meet deadline
Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
Good Communication skills and phone etiquette
