    Join The Fort's family of Employees! Now hiring for an Office Manager

    Hours- 10am-6pm, Mondays through Fridays. May be asked to work holidays or weekends in special circumstances.

    Marketing- Proofread all advertisements, copy, changes to hours, menus on TOAST, etc., coordinating between the Advertising agency, Public relations firm, and owner, to be sure information is correct and accurate across all platforms before submitted to the public. Be able to create simple inhouse graphics and design on adobe software. Update The Fort's Bento Box web site weekly with new menu additions, specials, and promotions. Develop email campaigns featuring Fort events, specials, etc., on MailChimp. Grow the audience emails on Mailchimp with QR codes and guest books. Make sure Open Table books are open for holidays and new hours for spring/summer, etc. Assist Sales and Marketing Manager on creating new brochures on History of The Fort, Immersive events at The Fort, Self Guided walk through of art and history of The Fort, etc. Develop table tent campaigns, communicate and get approval of all managers, and communicate all specials, etc., with PR Firm, after manager approval. Develop Open Table and TOAST marketing campaigns, building our audience following.

    Work with advertising agency on any graphics design, ads, etc. Assist Tesoro Cultural Center's marketing efforts for events (sister non-profit)when needed

    Customer service to include answering phones, directing, and screening calls to managers. Making customer reservations through our Open Table system. Manage customer purchase of gift cards, takeout orders on line , and retail sales orders online through the Paypal account May assist Sales and Marketing manager with site visits for banquets

    Bookkeeping- Assist GM and/or accountant and CPA firm in accounts payable and receivable, payroll, or any other accounting needs to include data entry, etc. as needed.

    Open Office in morning if needed.

    Receiving: accepting restaurant and office deliveries, assisting kitchen in deliveries as needed. Unbox all office and retail items and put away daily, in their organized places.

    Assistant to the Private Dining Manager to include giving site tours, follow up on daily leads on Tripleseat software, creating menu cards for parties, assist in set up of parties, and communicating with staff on set up.

    Learn the Floor planning software to assist Private dining manager and Dining room manager in floor plans for customers.

    Assistant to General Manager in all Administrative needs, including reports, filing, tech support, setting meetings, etc. Administrative assistance in changing prices, menus, and uploading in system, printing out and stuffing menus – reorder sleeves, menus, etc. and other administrative needs.

    Assist Dining and Kitchen Managers in keeping current new hire packets, and filing. Offer any administrative assistance as needed.

    SEASONAL Items: Work with Managers in keeping track and order seasonal items such as roses for Valentine’s Day from King Soopers, flowers for Mother’s Day, Easter eggs stuffed with candy for egg hunt on Easter, helium balloons- silver and black for New Year’s eve- , etc. Organize the Fort's annual Trappers Cup Golf Tournament, in September, Employee party in January, etc.

    Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances, and electronics as required

    Organizing maintenance department to keep the office clean WEEKLY and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order

    Assist the chef in ordering equipment as needed, and help organizing cubicles, and any other administrative needs he has.

    Schedule weekly entertainment for the Fort and including holidays and private dining entertainment. Make sure checks are cut for weekly entertainment, or lecturers.

    Assist ALL managers with administrative help as needed.

    Keep the office clean and organized and look for new ways to utilize space for storage.

    Key attributes:

    Must have high energy, organized, detailed oriented, a self-starter, and positive, upbeat outlook. Must embrace The Fort’s key Attributes and Values. Able to multitask and be a self-starter. Able to lift 50 pounds upstairs if needed. Willing to roll up sleeves and help as a team.

    Computer and tech skills:

    Must know Microsoft Office 365 including excel, word, etc. Must know Adobe, and be tech savey to utilize Tripleseat software, TOAST POS, recruiting software platform, and floor planning software. If the candidate doesn’t know TOAST, or our other platforms, must be willing to learn from videos and apply knowledge. Must have tech skills.

    Education- BA in Business, or three years’ experience in managing an office with a minimum of 8 managers, and extensive customer service and Marketing experience. Must have some accounting/bookkeeping experience, Restaurant, HR, and retail merchandising experience a plus.
