    Summary of Responsibilities

    Highland Build has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Office Manager to join a high-performing and well-respected general contracting company. As an Office Manager, you will play a central role in partnering with the company’s founder. You will also be supporting our team by managing the company’s administrative, operational, and fiscal affairs. This position also entails establishing systems and processes that are vital for us to become more efficient and grow.

    Essential Functions

    • Process weekly invoices and timecards
    • Ensure change orders updated on a weekly basis
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, subcontractors, Bookkeeper, and other vendors
    • Regularly update Project Management software
    • Making necessary updates to the project schedule as needed
    • Conduct site visits 1-2 times per week to monitor project progress
    • Attend staff meetings and participate in client calls
    • Help with hiring and onboarding new employees
    • Assist Project Leads by updating the schedule, updating project documentation, and reaching out to appropriate personnel if something has been missed

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
    • Basic accounting skills
    • Proficiency using Excel
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

    Compensation

    • $35-$50 per hour
    • 12 PTO days per year
    • Gas reimbursement for travel
