    Job Description: Paramount Pharmacy Group, located in Piscataway, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our corporate office team. This position plays a key role in supporting pharmacy operations, assisting our pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in office software—particularly Microsoft Excel—for managing reports and inventory.     Key Responsibilities:

    Medication Preparation: Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

    Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries, processing transactions, and resolving concerns in a professional manner.

    Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, perform regular stock audits, and use Microsoft Excel to track supplies and reorder medications as needed.

    Data Management & Reporting: Utilize Excel to create and maintain reports related to inventory, insurance claims, and other operational data. Analyze trends and assist in improving operational efficiency.

    Regulatory Compliance: Ensure pharmacy operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.

    Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date patient records and pharmacy documentation, ensuring all transactions are logged properly.

    Insurance Processing: Handle insurance claims, track reimbursements, and resolve any related issues in a timely manner.

    Team Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists, corporate team members, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

    Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe and compliant pharmacy environment.

    Job Requirements:

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.

    Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.

    Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred, with an emphasis on operational support.

    Skills:

    Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets, data entry, reporting, and analysis.

    Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

    Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to interact with patients, team members, and corporate leadership.

    Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

    Knowledge of Pharmacy Laws: Understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all standards.
