Responsibilities: • Handle deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mail • Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc. • Customer service : Greeting patients and visitors, and providing a welcoming atmosphere • Scheduling : Booking and re-booking appointments • Patient records : Maintaining accurate patient records • Payments : Collecting payments from patients • Insurance : Verifying insurance Medical/PPO and ensuring the practice has the latest insurance information • Administrative tasks : Handling other administrative duties • Treatment planning: Going over treatment with patients for their next visit, helping them understand the importance of the treatment, and breaking down all financial aspects Qualifications: • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office • High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations • 1 year of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, guest service specialist, or similar position preferred • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal communication skills • Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus Compensation: $18 - $24 hourly
