We are looking for an Office Support Assistant to help both our Marketing Department and our Front Office staff with administrative and organizational functions in the day-to-day operation of our office. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with daily office needs including filing and answering phones.
Back up the Ruckersville Front Office Secretary.
Assisting with telemarketing and setting appointments.
Provide excellent customer service while providing general support to customers.
Data entry utilizing proprietary software, Excel, and Word.
Communicate with staff and customers as required.
Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors as needed.
Discuss account status or activity with customers or appropriate personnel as needed.
Take payments from customers over the phone as needed.
Help with specialized reports.
Preferred skills:
Previous customer service experience of at least 1 year
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A professional and courteous telephone manner
Comfortable speaking on the phone, texting or emailing
Is detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
Proficient w/Microsoft outlook, excel and word
Strong interpersonal skills such as, communication, problem solving, and organizational.
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Able to prioritize work and adhere to deadlines
Work independently or as a team member
Able to identify and handle the urgency of each task, and work in a fast-paced position.
Patience and endurance to sit/stand behind a desk all day.
The hours for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with an hour for lunch. Additional training will be provided.
