    Position: On-Call Caregiver & Office Support Compensation: $18-20/hour, based on experience Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

    Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and dependable On-Call Caregiver to step in when regular caregivers are unavailable. This role requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of care for our clients. In addition to caregiving duties, the role includes providing office support for our Office Manager, Sharon, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Caregiver Duties:

    Fill in for shifts as needed due to last-minute cancellations or staffing gaps.

    Provide compassionate, reliable care to clients in various settings.

    Assist with patient transfers, including the use of gait belts, slide boards, etc.

    Comfortable and confident with providing personal care, including bedside brief changes.

    Maintain professionalism and adaptability while working with clients of all backgrounds, including those with pets or smoking habits.

    Drive clients when needed (must have your own vehicle with valid insurance).

    Office Support Duties:

    Assist the Office Manager with clerical tasks such as scanning documents, uploading files, and filing paperwork.

    Ensure caregiver compliance is tracked and followed up on.

    Prepare new client folders for consultations.

    Handle LTC and Home Align claims, process invoices, and follow up on pending documents.

    Provide phone support during busy periods and assist with office operations as needed.

    Be available to help with caregiver orientations or consultations in urgent situations.

    Required Qualifications:

    Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with current insurance.

    Previous caregiving experience is required, with the ability to handle a range of client needs professionally.

    Ability to assist with client transfers and personal care tasks safely.

    Must be comfortable working with clients who have pets and/or smoke.

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Willingness to jump in and help where needed, whether it’s providing care or office support.
