Summary: The Connecticut Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Governing Board is seeking a FileMaker Developer consultant to develop and test code for the Application Program Interface (API) with RMS vendors, ensuring compliance with CJIS-CT standards. The role involves extensive software development, system integration, and code review.

Position Info:

• Title: Application Developer
• Client: CT CJIS
• Duration: 12 Months
• Location: 55 Farmington Avenue Hartford, Connecticut 06107

Responsibilities:

• Develop software in compliance with CJIS-CT Architecture Standards and Methodologies.
• Document design and code structures in accordance with the Software Development Methodologies (SDM).
• Design applications and map components to a Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Conduct code and peer reviews, and execute Unit Test plans.
• Participate in System Integration and User Acceptance test plans.
• Maintain the Release Strategy, Restoral/Recovery Plan, and support application version control.
• Identify, report, and coordinate the remediation of software defects.
• Create and maintain Performance test cases, metrics, and Test Summary Reports.
• Provide technical consultation and programming help to vendors' technology teams.
• Contribute to Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology with a minimum of 5 years of programming experience.
• Proficiency in FileMaker, MySQL, and operating systems such as Windows, Mac, and Ubuntu.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, CSS3, CSS, HTML5, HTML, and JQuery.
• Familiarity with Postman, Amazon Web Services, CodeIgniter, LAMP, FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Go, and FileMaker Server.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and formal Software Development Methodologies (SDM)
