Job Description
The Revenue Accountant performs revenue accounting duties related to recording the Company’s oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids sales each month. In addition, the Revenue Accountant’s duties include:
· Analyzing purchaser statements and preparing revenue spreadsheet allocation schedules, ensuring proper accounting for taxes, deductions and allowable exemptions
· Perform the revenue distribution process to distribute payments and statements to owners
· Prepare accounting entries related to monthly processing and close activities
· Perform account reconciliations for revenue, royalty and tax accounts
· Respond to owner requests and prepare special reports and worksheets as required
· Provide support for special projects and perform other duties as assigned
