    Key Responsibilities:

    • Synthesis: Assist in the synthesis of oligonucleotides using automated synthesizers. Follow established protocols and ensure accuracy in reagent preparation and reaction conditions.
    • Purification: Perform purification of oligonucleotides using techniques such as FPLC (Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography) and HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). Monitor purification processes to achieve high-quality results.
    • Analysis: Analytical assays will be conducted to verify the quality and identity of synthesized oligonucleotides using LC-MS.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results. Ensure all documentation is compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Lab Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory equipment. Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with senior chemists and other team members to support ongoing projects. Contribute to problem-solving discussions.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field with 1-2 years’ experience or Master’s degree with 0-1 years’ experience.
    • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
    • Skills: * Basic understanding of organic chemistry and chemical synthesis. * Familiarity with laboratory techniques and equipment. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills. * Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and conveying technical information clearly. * Hands on experience in solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis is a plus.

    Additional Information

    The position is Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Boston, MA **** are encouraged to apply.
