    Job Description

    As a funding specialist, you will collaborate with Olsson leaders to strategize and develop funding solutions for key clients as well as large, long-range pursuits. You will provide expertise and guidance on federal spending, grant programs, and finance options for our public sector clients in addition to demonstrating and maintaining a broad knowledge of key federal and state funding policies and trends. You may serve as a project manager for specialized funding and grant administration contracts; manage scope, schedule, and budget. Periodic travel to our other office locations is required.

    We have one position available and will consider candidates interested in working in a hybrid environment aligned with any one of our office locations.

    You bring to the team:

    • Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, public administration, engineering, urban planning, or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in public infrastructure industry or economic development
    • Experience developing funding and finance strategies for governments and non-profit programs
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work well with multiple deadlines and flexibility to adapt to unanticipated client requests for grant development support
