    Job Description

    As a Railroad Public Project Construction Observer, you will coordinate and facilitate public projects on behalf of our railroad clients which includes project management services, coordination with various government agency project sponsors, progressing project assignments from cradle-to-grave, and providing timely reporting and communication to our rail clients.

    This role will require 85%-90% travel to various locations within the continental United States.

    • Associate or Bachelors degree from a technical or four-year school preferred
    • 2-5 years of field construction/OSHA experience preferred
    • 2-5 years of experience with Class I or Shortline railroad preferred
    • May be a registered professional engineer or hold other certifications
    • Interest in improving safety and rail operations
    • Ability to handle complex project management tasks
    • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
    • The ability to travel to project locations is required
