  • Responsibilities

    The Director of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This role involves overseeing employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. The Director of HR will work closely with senior management to ensure the HR practices align with the company’s goals and values. THIS POSITION IS 100% ON-SITE IN MERIDIAN IDAHO.

     

    Reports to: CEO

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    1\. Human Resources:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Provide expertise and assistance for employee coaching, counseling and disciplinary processes.
    • Play an integral part of the onboarding processes ensuring new hires are integrated effectively into the organization
    • Administer and facilitate leave of absence processes and ensure compliance with applicable Federal and State labor laws
    • Maintain complete and compliant employee personnel records
    • System Administrator of HRIS system (Dayforce)
    • Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR-related metrics and trends

    2\. Employee Relations

    • Address and resolve employee conflicts and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment

    3\. Compensation and Benefits

    • Oversee and administer compensation and benefit programs
    • Ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices
    • Manage employee benefit broker relations and oversee the annual benefit insurance renewal process.
    • Participate in the Workers’ Compensation insurance audit and policy renewal process
    • Assure compliance with ERISA, 550 filing, audits and other benefit compliance regulations
    • Administer all company-sponsored benefit programs such as group health, dental, and vision plans, disability, life, retirement plans, time off, COBRA and ancillary benefits.
    • Oversee any/all benefit plan set ups and pay calculations (deductions, adjustments, etc).

     

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

    • 10 + years experience in Human Resources is required with 3 + years in a supervisory role
    • 5+ years mortgage banking experience required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Administration or related field
    • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices and legal regulations
    • Excellent interpersonal communication, and leadership skills
    • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
    • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
    • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and MS office suite
    • SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred
