Responsibilities – Will include but are not limited to the following:
Maximize sales of Eagle Distributing products in assigned accounts by increasing distribution, shelf space, displays, securing price points, draught taps, merchandising, etc.
Responsible for regular call frequency on assigned retail accounts primarily to sell volume, increase distribution, merchandise, monitor price and shelf space management
Build business relationships with retailers and present professional sales presentations using sales histories and other sales tools as needed to accomplish account level objectives
Responsible for executing account level objectives including displays, taps, distribution goals, merchandising programs, shelf space, pricing, and promotional activities.
Responsible for maintaining published product freshness standards in assigned retail accounts by monitoring and rotating stocks
Use Mobility selling system at the “expert” level
Sell-in new placements. Merchandise with paper Point of Sale materials (P.O.S.), book permanent P.O.S.
Increase shelf space and position for Eagle products. Introduce new brands and packages where appropriate
Work with the credit department to resolve credit issues including collecting past due balances
Responsible for maintaining accurate retail inventories in Mobility handheld. Adjust build-to levels as needed using past sales history, changes in climate, competitive activity and special promotional activities
Complete training programs as required and maintain sales rep certification status
Serve as mentor for Relief Sales Reps through coaching and training during ride-with's
Attend and participate in all required sales meetings
Participate in evening and weekend promotion activities as necessary
Responsible for any other tasks deemed necessary by Sales Management
Safety awareness and prevention is the duty of all employees. As an employee of Eagle Distributing, it is incumbent of you to think safe, be safe, act safe and be aware of all situations that could put safety in jeopardy to any employee or our customers. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on company vehicles. Follow all traffic laws, ordinances and regulations of Local, State, Federal and Company.
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Strong customer service skills required
Good math skills and computer skills - Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) preferred
Work with minimal supervision, ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and be attentive to details. Highly self-motivated and able to work hours as required.
Lifting, bending, pulling and pushing required
Work experience requirements
Relief Sales Representative experience preferred
Prior beverage or consumer products sales experience
Education requirements
High school diploma or GED certificate required; College degree preferred
