    Job Summary

    We are seeking an Onsite Property Manager to join the team at Progressive Management Company. The Property Manager is responsible for directly managing all aspects of the apartment community. As a successful Property Manager, your goals are to maintain high occupancy rates, maximize profitability, and maintain a high level of satisfaction for both the property owner and tenant.     Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    Advertise vacant properties

    Show units to prospective tenants and inform them of all available amenities

    Negotiate leasing terms and close deals

    Qualify prospective tenants using background checks and references

    Accept rental payments and provide receipts

    Respond to tenant inquiries

    Must live on-site

    Inspect property on a regular basis and schedule necessary maintenance and repairs

    Qualifications

    5 years minimum verifiable experience with face-to-face customer service

    High school diploma/GED required

    We require a good driving record and we process criminal background checks

    Property management experience or Real Estate License preferred

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills

    Experience with property management software preferred

    Must have basic working knowledge of email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs

    Additional Information

    The nature of the position may require work on evenings, weekends and holidays and you can expect about 25 hours of work per week
