    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Bel Air, United States. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to cancer patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary oncology team to deliver exceptional patient-centered treatment and support.

    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage ongoing care for oncology patients
    • Prescribe and monitor chemotherapy and other cancer treatments in accordance with established protocols
    • Provide symptom management and supportive care throughout the cancer treatment process
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
    • Document patient care activities in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
    • Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and side effect management
    • Participate in tumor boards and care planning meetings
    • Monitor and evaluate treatment responses and adjust care plans as needed
    • Provide emotional support and resources to patients and families throughout their cancer journey
    • Stay current with oncology research and treatment advances
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) required
    • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
    • Active Oncology Nurse Practitioner Certification
    • Current Maryland state licensure or eligibility to obtain
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of oncology nursing experience
    • Demonstrated expertise in cancer treatment protocols and chemotherapy administration
    • Strong knowledge of pain management and palliative care principles
    • Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
    • Excellence in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
    • Experience in symptom management and supportive care
    • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing education
