Our family owned and operated heating and air conditioning company is seeking to hire a Director of Human Resources. This person is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources. Responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, as well as event planning.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
· Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for hiring qualified professionals
· Complete background checks and order drug tests for new hires
· Manage onboarding and orientation processes for new employees
Employee Relations:
· Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and compassionate manner
· Promote a culture of open communication and teamwork
· Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching
Benefits Administration:
· Administer employee benefit programs, including health and retirement plans
· Lead and develop employee recognition programs
Employee Uniforms:
· Coordinate with uniform company to ensure all new hires have proper company apparel
· Order and organize all other company apparel for employees
Additional HR Duties:
· Maintain applicant and employee records
· Manage company-wide communication · Attend networking group events · Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations · Organize and coordinate company events
· Serve as liaison between IT contractor and employees, ensuring IT issues are addressed promptly
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
· Three years’ experience · Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000
