Key Responsibilities - Summary
_We are seeking for an experienced Online Travel Agency (OTA) Pricing Specialist to oversee operations at our various clients’ residential & commercial properties. In this position, you will work with remote teams (customer success & multiple account managers) to create and configure property pricing, listings, customized reports, and profiles usually pushed through our PMS (Guesty) or Channel Manager (Rentals United), as well as to ensure units are ready for reservations, fulfill repair requests efficiently, track and ensure information parity and contribute to optimal distribution & boosting strategies through Expedia, Vrbo, Booking and Airbnb (among other OTAs). Our ideal candidate has at least two years of property pricing and OTA management experience.
Functions and Responsibilities_
- Dynamic Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies tailored to our unique portfolio of properties. Leverage market data and demand trends to adjust rates, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue generation.
- Channel Optimization: Manage and optimize our presence across Airbnb and VRBO, as well as other major and minor OTAs. Ensure accurate rate setups and maintain high visibility, continuously reviewing performance to identify opportunities for growth and increased market share. Manages Booking, Expedia, as well as Rentals United (and all associated channels/connections)
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) and Average Daily Rate (ADR). Generate detailed reports that provide actionable insights for informed decision-making and revenue enhancement.
- System Oversight and Configuration: Oversee the configuration of all pricing settings within the PMS, including automated payment processes, cancellation policies, and other rate-related parameters. Ensure that all pricing structures align with our overall revenue strategies while enhancing the guest experience.
- Collaborative Revenue Strategies: Work closely with commercial, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue initiatives and support promotional campaigns. Foster collaboration to strengthen our market positioning and guest satisfaction.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough research on competitors and industry trends to inform our pricing strategies. Stay updated on market developments to identify new revenue opportunities, enhance our competitive edge and ensures data compliance
