AECOM is seeking an experienced Onsite Architect to join our growing team based in Jacksonville, FL office. The Onsite Architect role will be located full-time on site in Kings Bay, GA at the Navy’s SUBASE, for a large multi-discipline project providing new and renovated facilities for landside support of the Navy’s mission. King's Bay, GA is located 38 miles from Jacksonville, FL
We are seeking qualified candidates with proven design and construction related experience, with a desire and focus on construction administration, ideally having been located on-site in previous roles. The importance of this role is shared by AECOM and our client, to be part of an on-site representative team for AECOM and client advocacy.
Candidates should possess demonstrated experience monitoring construction works against the Contract Documents, and construction administration activities generally. Candidates should have experience and passion for constructability matters and on-site activities and procedures – to regularly interface with the contractor and client’s site personnel. The role and responsibilities are provided under our construction technical support scope of services for the project.
