Job Description:
As an Onsite Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, guests, and employees. Your primary responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and providing administrative support to enhance the overall client experience. The ideal candidate should be a personable and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to appropriate staff members.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Provide information about the company and its services to clients and guests.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Coordinate with maintenance and IT staff for any building or equipment needs.
- Support order distribution and place customer orders as needed.
- Uphold and reinforce company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, copiers).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to handle confidential information responsibly.
