JOB SUMMARY

The Secondary Marketing Analyst is responsible for lock desk functions and monitoring pricing on the secondary market. They monitor and resolve any issues with loan locks. The Secondary Marketing Analyst collaborates with post-closing to sell loans as quickly and completely as possible. This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S.

JOB DUTIES

• Monitor and input all new locks, lock changes, and lock extensions
• Edit and monitor price groups
• Update info with our end investor, if needed
• Extend locks in the loan origination system and investors as needed
• Re-lock loans and accounts for market movement
• Monitor pricing shown versus actual
• Input confirmations and ready for sale dates    
• Check the MTM for errors
• Monitor multiple reports setup for issues that need to be addressed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, marketing, sales, or related fields or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of mortgage industry experience 
• 1+ year of experience in mortgage secondary or capital markets including credit, negotiation, and or relationship management experience
• Exceptional business and deal structure experience
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
• Experience with Stagnant Loan Reports, Mark to Market Reports, and Best Ex Reports preferred
