Open Systems Technologies is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (RHEL) Sr. Consultant with expertise in RHEL 8, Advanced Automation Platform (AAP), and OpenShift to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RHEL 8 administration, automation, and container orchestration using OpenShift. This is onsite in San Antonio TX.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support and guidance on RHEL 8 administration, configuration, and optimization.
• Design, implement, and manage automation solutions using Red Hat's Advanced Automation Platform (AAP) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and align with best practices.
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for RHEL 8 systems and OpenShift environments.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to RHEL, AAP, and OpenShift.

Qualifications:

• CLEARANCE: TS/SCI w FSP
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in RHEL 8 administration and support.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat's Advanced Automation Platform (AAP) for infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in deploying and managing containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and orchestration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
