React Native Developer OpenTech Alliance is growing rapidly and searching for an experienced mobile app developer with experience in React Native for both IOS and Android platforms. Job Description / What you'll be doing This position will lead OpenTech's mobile migration efforts * Architect, build and maintain "5-stars" React Native IOS and Android applications for OpenTech's self-storage customers. * Implement pixel perfect Ul's that match design specifications developed by our UX/UI and product management teams. * Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience. * Integrate with OpenTech's back-end services and third-party service provider APl's. * Write unit and integration tests. * Release applications to IOS and Google Play stores. * Work with native modules where required. * Work as part of a small team, which will include onshore/offshore React Native contractors, a project lead, QA professional, and a UX/UI designer. * Complete two week sprints and participate in Agile/Scrum retrospectives and daily standups. * Work with Product Management and Marketing teams to define vision and technology roadmap for mobile development. * Work with modern tools including Figma, Azure DevOps, Teams, Slack, GitHub, etc. Requirements Qualifications for the React Native Developer include: * 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native. * 4+ years of professional software development experience. * Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and C# a plus but not required. * Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems. * Deliver across the entire app life cycle - concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support. * Always manage communications and expectations with team members and customers. * An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them. * Ability to work through new and difficult React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed. * Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications. * A positive mindset and can-do attitude. * Integrate plugins to utilize native APIs for push notifications, geo-location and payment processing. * Ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English. Additional language skills are a plus, but not required. * Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week.
