You will be responsible for designing our sales strategy and revenue targets, training and evaluating our sales personnel, and ensuring that we generate new and recurring business through various areas of revenue. Responsibilities: • Solicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to your network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenue • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast • Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives • Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers • Deliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expenses • Evaluate information gathered from market data, create a plan to meet hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales plan • Establish strategies to meet and exceed monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives Qualifications: • Must have relevant experience of 5+ years as a sales professional, preferably in the hospitality field • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required • Must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office • Previous hotel sales experience is required Compensation: $70,000 yearly
