    Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Operations Assistant to join our team. This is not a clinical position, but requires knowledge, prior entry level experience and some formal education with clinical mental health and substance abuse populations.

    If you are a current student in a human services certification/substance abuse counseling program or a current student in related psychology/ substance abuse concentration field you are encouraged to apply.

    In this role, you will provide direct support to our Director of Operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting with clinical and administrative operations, answering incoming calls, support admission process, observe and document clinical group processes and other assigned clinical related tasks under supervision .

    The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, self starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

    Responsibilities

    Provide support to the operations director

    Assist with the intake process; reviewing, explaining and documenting forms

    Enter information in the patient electronic health record

    Ensure that patient information is obtained correctly and filed properly

    Assist in ensuring program operations is functioning according to standards

    Maintain reports and spreadsheets and tracking systems as directed

    Assist with projects as assigned

    Qualifications

    Experience with working in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment is a must

    General understanding of clinical / medical terminology regarding Mental Health and SUD treatment

    High school diploma/GED required

    Associate’s degree/ Bachelor's degree in progress in related field/ Internship or practicum in related field preferred

    Knowledge of and experience with HIPAA compliance

    Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines

    Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

    Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
