    About RIVET

RIVET is how construction labor gets to work. Rivet's software platform transforms the way contractors manage, plan, schedule, and deploy crews in one unified platform. The RIVET team is passionate about leveraging technology to champion the skilled trades, accelerate digital transformation, and make construction an industry of choice for a new generation entering the workforce.

    The Role

As an Operations Associate at RIVET, you will be integral to the day-to-day functions of our operations team, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our recruitment processes run smoothly, assisting in onboarding, and supporting general operations. You will act as a bridge between departments, ensuring that new employees are set up for success, and all system access is properly managed in compliance with our protocols.

On a typical day, you will support the People Operations Manager in maintaining a highly organized and efficient office environment, troubleshoot technical issues, and streamline operational workflows. Your contributions will help ensure a seamless experience for both new hires and current employees. In addition to handling core operations tasks, you will have the opportunity to improve and automate our CRM system and develop meaningful business reports to drive data-informed decision-making.

As the company grows, this role will evolve into a more strategic position, where you will have the opportunity to lead process improvements, optimize onboarding experiences, and further enhance operational efficiencies across the board.

    • Develop and manage a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring all employees are set up for success from day one.
    • Manage employee requests for system access and privileges, maintaining a balance between employee needs and compliance requirements.
    • Develop and implement automation and reporting tools within HubSpot to improve operational efficiencies.
    • Troubleshoot employee technology issues related to system access and hardware needs.
    • Support the People Operations Manager in daily tasks, including managing office supplies, organizing team events, and handling equipment requests.

    What You'll Bring

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, HR/People Operations, or a similar operational role.
    • Strong experience managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process.
    • Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, HubSpot, and Notion.
    • Experience in developing clear documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong relationships with new employees.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Even Better

    • SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
    • 5+ years of experience in recruiting or operations.
    • Experience with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001 or SOC II.
    • Experience creating automation to improve operational workflows.
    • Familiarity with supporting fast-growing startups.
