Job Title: Operations Coordinator Reports to: Director of Ministry Coordinators Time Status: Full Time
SUMMARY The Operations Coordinator will work with the IT, Media and Securities Directors to assist with administrative and organizational processes. The Operations Coordinator will also serve as the GBC Receptionist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to: • Serve as the Receptionist for Grace Baptist Church. • Process Purchase Orders for IT, Media and Securities. • Assist the Campus Shepherd team: o Coordinate calendaring and organize schedules for Campus Shepherds. o Communicate schedules to Campus Shepherds. • Request facility needs in FMX, as needed. • Update records in Shelby Membership, as needed. • Attend All-Staff meetings and other mandatory meetings as required. • Participate in church-wide events. • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: • Must be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. • Must be an active member of Grace Baptist Church. • Dedicated to the core values of Grace Baptist Church, including: o THE BAPTIST FAITH AND MESSAGE 2000 o THE NASHVILLE STATEMENT 2017. • Committed to biblical tithing. • A demonstrated ability to maintain sensitive and confidential church information. • Ability to perform services independently. • Work cohesively within a team environment. • Maintain a high degree of social emotional intelligence. • Maintain a positive attitude, even when under pressure. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. • Basic understanding of office organization, operations, office equipment, and processes. • Willingness to learn various computer platforms.
