We are searching for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee operations at a warehouse and distribution facility. Ideally, you will have a strong background in logistics and freight brokerage, excellent computer skills, and a proven track record in supervisory roles.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective storage, distribution, and inventory management.
• Coordinate and supervise staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Manage logistics and freight brokerage activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Implement and maintain warehouse systems for inventory control, stock management, and order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and optimize warehouse processes, implementing cost-saving measures and best practices.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
• Operate a forklift as needed to assist with warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Extensive experience in logistics and freight brokerage.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Certification in warehouse management or logistics (e.g., APICS, CPIM).
