Your Role as Operations Manager:
As the Operations Manager for our Fort Collins location, you will be responsible for overseeing daily logistics, managing the crew, ensuring job efficiency, and improving operations. This is a hands-on position that requires strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Dispatch & Crew Management – Oversee scheduling, job assignments, and real-time problem-solving to ensure smooth moving operations. 🔹 Quality Control & Customer Service – Handle client concerns, damage claims, and ensure a 5-star moving experience. 🔹 Hiring & Training – Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and coaching new movers and drivers. 🔹 Fleet & Inventory Oversight – Ensure trucks, equipment, and moving materials are well-maintained and stocked. 🔹 Sales & Lead Management – Take inbound calls, provide estimates, and book jobs (earn 4% commission on jobs fully booked by you). 🔹 KPI Tracking & Performance Reviews – Track job efficiency, review crew performance, and implement improvements. 🔹 Problem-Solving & Leadership – Be ready to jump in on a move if necessary and lead by example.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Prior experience in operations, logistics, or moving industry preferred (but open to related fields like construction, warehouse, or fleet management). ✅ Strong leadership skills – You’ll be managing teams, so confidence and decision-making ability are key. ✅ Tech-savvy & organized – Must be comfortable using dispatching software, CRM tools, and spreadsheets for scheduling and tracking performance. ✅ Hands-on mentality – Must be willing to physically assist on a job if absolutely needed. ✅ Problem-solving mindset – Ability to handle last-minute changes, cancellations, and unexpected challenges.
