    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Operations Manager is a high-energy professional who is proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically. The Operations Manager takes care of a portfolio of projects on a weekly basis. Ideally, a qualified Operations Manager will have experience in the different facets critical in small business: sales, marketing, administration, operations, and human resources.

    House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvement service company specializing in both large and small jobs in the Windsor area. We are looking for management support including capacity planning to help the business with budgeting and scaling to identify optimal levels of operations.

    ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:

    Project management skills

    2+ years hands on experience with a knowledge of principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry, as an Operations Manager, or similar leadership role conducting similar activities to what's listed above

    2+ years of experience leading teams to achieve exceptional customer experiences

    Time management skills/ Prioritization

    High Quality - Focus on the details

    Customer relationship management (conflict resolution skills)

    JOB ROLES: Responsible for the following tasks/ activities:

    Serving our customers well and being genuinely interested in their needs

    Visiting customer's homes and providing job estimates

    Problem-solving day-to-day issues that arise

    Help build an A-level team of technicians and salespeople

    Manage and lead technicians

    Scheduling projects (materials, personnel, stakeholders)

    Billing and invoicing

    Executing Key Performance Goals on revenue, customer satisfaction, and profitability

    Business Development and Selling

    Networking at local events such as BNI and Chamber of Commerce.

    Providing exceptional customer support and service

    Local marketing

    Overseeing relationships with customers, realtors, property managers, and other service companies within companies’ target markets to increase sales and measure the return/effectiveness of these activities

    Ensuring high-quality execution for all jobs; monitoring post-job satisfaction of customers and proactively addressing any issues that arise

    Scheduling using CRM software Service Titan
