  • Responsibilities

    Role Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the facility's entire operation to maximize safety, quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and inventory management. You will implement strategies that enhance productivity and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered on time and within budget.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure facility operations are conducted with utmost safety, aiming for zero injuries through effective tracking, performance analysis, and root cause investigations.
    • Oversee production processes to ensure quality standards are met, minimizing waste and incorrect product specifications.
    • Manage shipping and delivery departments to optimize logistics and inventory control, ensuring timely and cost-effective product deliveries.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, employing tools like SQDCI boards and process audits to enhance efficiency and eliminate waste.
    • Collaborate with order entry and scheduling to optimize production flow and schedule adherence.
    • Recruit and manage staff effectively to meet operational goals.
    • Analyze performance data against targets, using trend and Pareto charts to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
    • Foster a cooperative and productive work environment to enhance employee morale and workplace effectiveness.
    • Maintain regular communication with all levels of the organization and directly interact with customers to resolve any issues.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong background in manufacturing and warehouse settings with a proven track record in problem-solving.
    • High emotional intelligence with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Effective delegation and team management abilities.
    • Experience in a diverse work environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
    • A solid background in continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

    Working Conditions:

    • Extended hours may be required to meet business needs.
    • Work environment includes exposure to high temperatures, humidity, and machinery with associated safety risks.
    • Frequent interactions with senior management and direct engagement with customers.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to walk extensively throughout the manufacturing and warehouse facility.
