Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Operations Manager.
The Operations Manager for Procedural will be responsible for all operational aspects of the interventional suites including organizing planning and coordinating resources to provide high-quality patient care in a cost-effective manner in accordance with the NYU Langone Mission. This will include Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Neuro, Interventional Radiology, and Gastrointestinal. The operations manager will report to the Administrative Director for Medicine and Interventional Services
Job Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
Responsibilities include the daily oversight and management of staff resources, patient schedules, supplies, equipment and environment of care with a focus on efficiency, patient throughput, quality and safety.
Facilitates the development and implementation of operational workflows, policies and procedures, and staff development activities to ensure the efficiency of department operations, promote quality of care and the financial stability of operations.
Manages a variety of administrative and research-related projects (gathering, collecting and data analysis) to support procedural areas.
Oversees the process for patients from internal and external referred patients to ensure medical records are complete and patients receive care and communication at the same level of excellence
Financial Management
Oversees financial management for the divisions. Works with the Administrator to complete the operating budget, and monitor progress as monthly reports are provided. Keeps the department within budget. Prepares budgets that reflect reasonable estimates of projected expenses. Ensures that the department budgets are maintained with reasonable variances with an eye to innovation and cost-containment.
Staff Management
Supervises scheduling, billing, and technical staff, and ensure that proper staffing is provided for clinical activities. Directly involved with the interview process. Completes yearly evaluations in a timely fashion and takes necessary disciplinary action
Works with Labor Relations to ensure all requirements are met for union and nonunion staff.
Data Analytics
Oversees data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and analyzing of patient volume and efficiency metrics and offers recommendations for improving communication, efficiency, quality and safety.
Assists will quality data collection and reporting for cross campus meetings and presentations.
Compliance and Policy Development
Assures compliance with regulatory agency requirements related to the clinical and research needs of the procedural services.
Works with the Director to anticipate changes in regulations and develop a plan for compliance and/or performance improvement.
Works with the Director to communicate plans for new policies and procedures that impact the department which includes methodologies to facilitate compliance.
Assist in the preparation of externally and internally mandated reports.

Special Projects: Participates in special projects and performs other duties as aligned with the mission and values of the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in Management or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree preferred

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $79,698.01 - $112,080.15 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
