    The Operations Manager at Sacred Path will be responsible for overseeing and improving the daily operations of the organization. This role ensures that internal systems, financial processes, and organizational resources support the overall mission and programs effectively. The Operations Manager will be a key decision-maker, role model, team builder, and motivator for the organization. This individual will be the primary facilitator of interdepartmental communication and collaboration to maintain excellent interpersonal relations with providers, staff, and colleagues. The Operations Manager will oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, systems and will work with the leadership team to maintain the efficient and productive operations of all departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple programs for maximum efficiency. This position is hybrid and requires being in the office 2-3 times per week

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Oversee the day to day operations of several programs

    Provide strong, visible, energetic operational leadership in a manner consistent with Sacred Path’s mission, values and strategic objectives.

    Ensure appropriate staffing, promote productivity throughout the organization and work to optimize individual capabilities to meet the needs of key roles throughout the organization.

    Develop process improvements that promote the quality of services and strengthen efficiency.

    Work collaboratively with program managers to encourage staff alignment, engagement, open interdepartmental communication and positive work environment.

    Work to enhance the image of Sacred Path by building its reputation for providing high quality, compassionate, culturally sensitive services to the community.

    Education

    Master’s degree, or at least 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.

    License/Certifications

    None required

    Patient Care and Customer Service

    Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and their families, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and compassionate manner.

    Resolve any issues related to service delivery and escalate matters as necessary.

    Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse populations.

    Communication/Interpersonal Skills

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Interact with people in a professional and respectful manner, both verbally and in writing.

    Ability to develop and maintain community partnerships.

    Technology Skills

    Must be able to use a computer or laptop to complete needed tasks for the job.

    Excel, Word, Google Workspace, electronic health record (if applicable).

    Utilize technology for virtual sessions and remote monitoring.

    Ensure data accuracy, security, and adherence to privacy regulations to safeguard sensitive client information in electronic health records and other systems.

    Position Qualification Preferences

    Experience working with the American Indian/Alaska Native community.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described are typical of those required by an employee to perform the primary functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk frequently, sit, bend, twist, talk, and hear. There are prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with vendors, and staff.

    Mental Demands

    There are various deadlines associated with this position. The employee must also multi-task and interact with many people on a variety of issues that are, at times, very complicated.

    Other Requirements

    Eligible to work in the United States

    Pass fingerprint clearance

    Maintain annual negative TB test results on file

    Pass a post-offer drug test

    Possess and maintain a reliable vehicle with valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance

    Available to work evenings and weekends, as needed

    Travel from different offices if required

    Willing to travel, as needed (travel time could range from 20-30%)

    Contribute to strategic development for the organization; help to ensure that initiatives and performance measures align with community needs and organizational plans.

    Offer mentorship to the management team and help to create an organizational culture that empowers managers and employees to be innovative and dynamic, while holding them accountable to their job requirements.

    Support the professional development of staff through coaching, feedback, and training.

    Oversee incident reporting (including client and employee feedback) procedures and working with appropriate staff as needed.

    Manage office space (physical or virtual) and ensure staff have the tools and systems they need to work efficiently.

    Interview and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; implement disciplinary action; address complaints and resolve problems.

    Perform other duties, as assigned, to fulfill the mission of Sacred Path.
