    Position Overview:

    As the Operations Manager, you&\#8217;ll lead a dedicated team of 6 supervisors and over 150 employees across fabrication, aluminum, paint, and multiple assembly departments. Your primary mission is to meet and exceed production goals by implementing Quantum Lean Time in System principles. You&\#8217;ll collaborate closely with the Safety, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality production while minimizing cycle time and labor hours.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Champion and cultivate a safety-first culture.
    • Ensure accountability and create actionable plans for supervisors and team leads.
    • Delegate effectively to optimize talent and resource utilization.
    • Tackle challenges creatively to meet production objectives.
    • Adjust work center schedules to meet delivery targets.
    • Ensure teams have the necessary personnel, tools, and supplies.
    • Host weekly staff meetings and daily production and transition meetings.
    • Act as the primary voice of production, enhancing overall employee engagement.
    • Address concerns from both internal and external customers.
    • Research, document, and implement process improvements, providing training as needed.
    • Mentor and train others on lean manufacturing best practices.
    • Identify and eliminate production inefficiencies.
    • Manage and monitor all production budgets and resources.
    • Define, analyze, and track relevant production metrics.
    • Maintain safety and security procedures, report unsafe conditions, and properly use equipment and materials.
    • Ensure punctual attendance and coverage of work responsibilities.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Approve purchase order requisitions for production-related parts and tools.
    • Review and approve timesheets, PTO requests, and other HR duties.
    • Help set and manage operational expense budgets.
    • Define and review policies and procedures, including departmental standards and responsibilities.
    • Provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance reviews.
    • Participate in various operational committees and meetings, including Lean Manufacturing, Engineering Steering Committee, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong communication and leadership skills.
    • Bachelor&\#8217;s Degree required.
    • Is innovative, collaborative, and can think outside-the-box.
    • Values a team environment with a Servant Leadership style of management.
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug test, with a clean driving record and eligibility for company insurance.
    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or service shop environment.
    • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing teams of 50 or more.
    • Proactive and diligent Project Manager.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing best practices.
    • Prior specialty vehicle manufacturing experience or similar fabrication experience.
    • Exceptional computer skills.
    • Proficiency in interpreting manufacturing drawings and engineering prints.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
