    Job Summary: The Operations Manager will oversee the daily activities and operations of our window cleaning, gutter cleaning, holiday lighting, pressure washing, and window film business. The primary responsibility will be managing, training, and developing a skilled workforce while ensuring quality work is completed on time, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader with a strong customer-first mentality, a passion for hands-on training, who has a strong mechanical mindset, and a commitment to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Team Leadership & Staff Development:

    Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the field teams, ensuring that tasks are completed correctly and on time.

    Onboard new team members for various service roles (technicians and installers) and conduct ongoing training to ensure high-quality service delivery and efficiency.

    Ensure all team members are trained in the latest techniques, technical skills, safety practices, equipment usage, and customer service expectations.

    Partner with Office Manager to coordinate job assignments, ensuring team members are deployed effectively based on skill sets and customer needs.

    Customer Service & Client Relations:

    Maintain a customer-first attitude and ensure all interactions for job completion exceed client expectations.

    Resolve operational customer issues and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.

    Assist with monitoring customer feedback, analyze trends, and implement improvements based on feedback to improve service quality.

    Operational Management & Workflow Coordination:

    Partner with Office Manager to optimize scheduling and dispatching of field staff to ensure timely job completion and optimal resource allocation.

    Monitor field operations to ensure adherence to quality standards, efficient work processes, and safety guidelines.

    Ensure that all jobs are completed on schedule, meet company standards, and exceed customer expectations.

    Manage daily logistics and operational flow to optimize team performance and reduce delays and/or inefficiencies.

    Safety & Compliance:

    Ensure all field staff adhere to safety regulations and follow established protocols for working at heights, handling equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using chemicals.

    Conduct regular safety training and safety check-ins to minimize workplace incidents.

    Ensure that all vehicles, tools, and equipment are in proper working condition, conducting regular checks and addressing maintenance needs onsite, if possible.

    Seasonal Operations (Holiday Lighting):

    Lead and organize the seasonal holiday lighting installation and removal process, partnering with the Office Manager, to ensure timely scheduling and efficient execution.

    Train and manage seasonal staff specifically for holiday lighting duties, ensuring they are prepared to meet the seasonal demand.

    Ensure that the holiday lighting services meet customer expectations and are completed safely and efficiently within the required time frame.

    Process Improvement & Team Communication:

    Continually identify areas for operational improvement, with a focus on training and workflow optimization to enhance efficiency and service quality.

    Ensure clear and consistent communication between management, office staff, and field teams to keep everyone aligned with company goals and customer expectations.

    Follow and train technicians to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all services to ensure uniformity and quality control across all jobs.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach to training and guiding field staff.

    Customer-first mindset, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to handle client interactions professionally and effectively.

    A deep commitment to quality service, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

    Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and resolve mechanical and customer service issues quickly and effectively.

    Ability to train and develop employees in both technical skills, minor mechanical skills, and customer-facing interactions, ensuring employees are well-equipped to perform tasks and represent the company positively.

    Clear communicator with excellent time-management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and ensure smooth operations.

    Comfort with managing seasonal workflows and the ability to adapt to high-demand periods (e.g., holiday lighting).

    Proficiency with basic office tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, CRM systems).

    Education & Experience:

    2+ years of experience in operations within a window cleaning and/or home services industry (e.g., window film, pressure washing, holiday lighting, etc.).

    Experience in leading field operation teams in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and managing day-to-day logistics and services.

    Previous experience with seasonal operations (especially holiday lighting) is a plus.

    Possess a mechanical mindset with ability to resolve minor small engine, minor electrical and other repairs of onsite equipment.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to perform field inspections and physically assist staff as needed.

    Ability to conduct site visits and inspect job sites as needed.

    Capability to climb ladders, use scaffolding, ensure safe operation of tools and machinery and lift, carry, and handle equipment up to 80 lbs. when needed.

    Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
