    Production Manager - Greater Indianapolis

    Scope:

    Global product manufacturer seeks a driven operations professional to lead, remove obstacles for supervisors and hourly associates, and make sure production goals are met. The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing liquid processing/packaging operations within an FDA-regulated facility in Greater Indianapolis.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Initiate plans and processes that minimize costs through the utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
    • Encourage the use of innovative productivity techniques and focus on fact-based problem-solving.
    • Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with senior management and staff members as necessary.
    • Review daily departmental and plant-wide financial performance and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and determine the best course of action.
    • Continually improve safety records by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree is required (Engineering, Automation, Project Mgmt, Org. Ldrshp, etc.).
    • Minimum of seven years of increasingly responsible manufacturing experience, and at least 5 years within a liquid fill processing/packaging facility
    • Demonstrated track record leading the improvement of operations while delivering day-to-day performance plus leadership of safety initiatives.
    • Comfortable working with complex processes and manufacturing technologies, while building a strong operations team.

    Compensation:

    • M-F, with an occasional Saturday.  Salary can go up to $115,000/year, depending on experience, plus bonus potential of up to 10%.
