We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our team. This is an excellent career development opportunity for a hospitality and food service professional with 1 - 2 years of management experience.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operations of his/her assigned departments within the location. This includes providing leadership, seamless customer service and guest experiences, optimizing profitability and providing a safe and positive work environment. In this position the This position is to provide leadership through coaching and developing employees, providing guidance and communicating the Company’s standards, expectations, vision and values to employees. Responsible for the overall location when the General Manager is not present.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

    Annual rate of pay based on relevant experience to the role. Full-time hours.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    College degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of supervisory experience in the restaurant, public market, or movie theater industries.

    The ability to develop and lead an exceptional team, a passion for hospitality and a proven ability to drive sales and obtain results.

    Ability to work with little or no supervision.

    Team building skills of empathy, building of self-esteem, motivational techniques, coaching and empowerment.

    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, vendors, and customers.

    Computer literate in Word and Excel.

    Knowledge of POS systems

    Must be 18 years of age.

    Good verbal and written English Language skills. Bi-lingual a plus.

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    Good public speaking skills.

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, and sit use hands to handle and touch. The employee is occasionally required reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

    The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but occasionally loud due to excessive crowds.

    Work may be performed in extreme climates with varying temperatures and weather conditions.
