A rapidly growing insurance carrier is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy operations specialist with expertise in Microsoft PowerBI and Power Automate to enhance software implementation, refine workflows, and optimize business processes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, automation, and cross-departmental collaboration. As the Operations & Microsoft Solutions Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing business software, improving operational efficiency, and driving data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with different teams to align automation, reporting, and workflow enhancements with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Implementation & Management – Lead the implementation of business software solutions, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Process Documentation & Optimization – Analyze, document, and improve business workflows for greater efficiency.
- Automation & Efficiency – Utilize Microsoft Power Automate to streamline manual tasks, reducing errors and increasing productivity.
- Data Analytics & Reporting – Develop real-time dashboards and generate business insights using Microsoft PowerBI.
- Issue Resolution – Identify and troubleshoot operational and system-related issues.
- Training & Support – Educate team members on new tools and process changes to ensure smooth adoption.
- Cross-Department Collaboration – Work with different teams to align technology, reporting, and operations with business objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in operations management, workflow optimization, and process improvement.
- Expertise in Microsoft PowerBI (data visualization, reporting) and Power Automate (workflow automation, integrations).
- Ability to translate technical solutions into user-friendly processes for team members.
- Detail-oriented and analytical, with strong problem-solving and task management skills.
- Technical aptitude for troubleshooting software and operational challenges.
- Effective communicator and trainer, with the ability to guide teams through system implementations.
- Familiarity with insurance operations, particularly workers’ compensation, is a plus but not required.
