    Summary:

    The Operations Specialist will provide daily banking services, primarily related to file processing, at Global Innovations Bank. The Operations Specialist may also work directly with customers and will be expected to provide excellent customer service to ensure customer needs are being met. Will provide efficient operations and compliance with Federal and State Regulations as well as bank policies and procedures. The Operations Specialist will work across several business lines including, but not limited to, Core Banking and Fintech Banking.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Downloading ACH files; processing through Bank systems and correspondent bank;

    • Processing outgoing/incoming wires and book transfers;
    • Ensuring incoming wire files are appropriately directed to customers’ accounts;
    • Assisting in troubleshooting and error resolution;
    • Assisting in user and account management including maintaining ongoing relationships with customers;
    • Addressing customer account issues;
    • Reconciling transaction accounts;
    • Developing efficient training procedures;
    • Ensuring all client account information is kept confidential;
    • Assisting customer integration process including creation of user guides and other FAQs;
    • Training personnel for processing back up and continuity purposes;
    • Preparing materials to assist in development of improved customer experience;
    • Evaluating effectiveness of customer experience;

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED required;
    • 3+ years banking experience preferred;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external parties;
    • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel, and Outlook) and knowledge of changing technologies;
    • General understanding of the industry's processes, procedures, and workflow;
    • The ability to be proactive and creative in identifying issues, solutions, and opportunities for efficiencies;
    • Detail oriented with ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practice;
    • Possesses strong work ethic and organizational skills;
    • Good decision making and analytical abilities.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone/web conferencing;
    • Frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls;
    • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms;
    • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds;
    • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to focus;
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
