    Shift 5:00am – 1:30pm

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Operations Supervisor AM is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with all inventory, facilities, the MRS tractor/trailer fleet, and the productivity and oversight of the Operations Team. After the successful dispatching of our delivery drivers, the Operations Supervisor will spend most of each day in the warehouses, working with the Inventory and with Forklift Operators to ensure incoming products are properly processed and put away in their designated locations and that they are identifiable and accurate in both our WMS system (LISA) and the scanner guns. The Operations Supervisor will delegate and ensure projects are completed on time and in full.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Manage 6-8 direct reports and approx. 15 dotted line reports (Warehouse Workers & Drivers)

    Prioritize the inventory for accuracy through daily cycle counting

    Ensure new SKUs are accurately captured in our WMS (LISA) and that the scanner guns confirm

    Responsible for processing outgoing Amazon shipments and incoming Amazon returns

    Coordinate and assign work, set completion time, review work and manage performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and performance management processes.

    Mitigating product damages and taking preventative measures to avoid future occurrences

    Oversee warehouse and facilities cleanliness

    Back up the Operations Manager as needed

    Ensure communications and actions are in alignment with our mission, vision and culture

    Ensuring paperwork is accurate and updated accordingly

    Manage time efficiently, meet personal goals and work effectively with other team members

    Adhere to all Company policies and procedures

    Present a professional image at all times

    Perform various other duties and special projects as assigned

    **Pre-employment requirements: personality assessment, drug test, background check and reference check

    SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    · Minimum of 2+ years related experience in Operations

    · Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a leadership/supervisory capacity overseeing at least four employees.

    · Experience with flatbed or curtain side loading a plus

    · Prior experience within the building materials industry preferred

    · Must have strong leadership and people management skills

    · Must be very organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities

    · Must be detailed oriented, self-motivated and able to multi-task

    · Must have strong time management skills and exceptional problem-solving ability

    · Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

    · Competency of MS office and Operations systems

    EDUCATION

    · Associate’s Degree in business or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

    · Bachelor’s Degree a plus

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, touch and use tools, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear and walk during the course of employment

    · Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.

    · Must have the manual dexterity to file and use a computer keyboard, calculator and telephone

    · Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision depth perception and an ability to adjust focus

    · Must be able to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
