    OVERVIEW

    Danella Power Services, Inc., a leader in the utility industry, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our Storm Response team as an Operations Support Specialist. This role is integral to our Storm Services Division, providing comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Operations Manager.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

    1. Assisting any needs of the Operations Manager in planning, organizing, and implementing storm events, business development, and management of day to day operational activities
    2. Coordinating and scheduling meetings, appointments, conferences, and travel arrangements for the Operations Manager and storm response team members as needed.
    3. Ensuring the Operations Manager is well-prepared for meetings and events, providing necessary documents and information.
    4. Managing and tracking GPS and driving reports using tracking programs such as Samsara, TrackVia, and Monday.
    5. Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and Spectrum for data management and reporting to the Operations Manager or any other leadership team as needed..
    6. Ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently, preventing any oversight that could disrupt operations.
    7. Acting as a point of contact between the Operations Manager and internal or external colleagues.
    8. Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
    9. Handling confidential information and maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
    10. Maintaining scheduled events, email responses, and required critical task management for the Operations Manager
    11. Supporting operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. They should be able to work under pressure, demonstrating resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, along with the ability to build relationships with team members and external parties.

    This role requires a high level of commitment and flexibility, with the expectation of availability 24/7, including weekends and holidays, to ensure the successful dispatch of our linemen in response to storm events. During non storm events, process flows and business lines are to be managed and analyzed for improvement where this role will play a key component.

    • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the utility industry.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory and preferred with tracking programs such as Samsara, TrackVia, and Spectrum.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
