Operations Technical Support Specialist

Shift: Monday - Friday: 7 AM to 3 PM
Payrate: Negotiable in the 20's - let's talk!

TSS SEWING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! 

This position is for an apparel manufacturing company, where knowledge of TSS Sewing Systems is required. 

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Operations Technical Support Specialist to support our Operations Team in maintaining and improving quality, safety, and efficiency. This role involves optimizing production processes, introducing new products to the line, and providing guidance to manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to manage new product samples and ensure on-time, quality completion.
• Facilitate the transition of new products into production, ensuring smooth implementation.
• Partner with trainers and supervisors to train production staff on new products while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Develop and implement new methods to enhance production, suggest equipment improvements, and drive job enhancements.
• Manage and ensure the correct implementation of R&D requests from production.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure a safe working environment, including stopping unsafe tasks when necessary.
• Support R&D in specific tasks as needed.
• Work with the team to meet production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a technical support or operations role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product introduction.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in sewing manufacturing process preferred
