Job Description
The Operator I is responsible for managing the production process and work area from grooving to the finished product, including handling and reloading packaging materials for the production line, in a 24/7 environment. This role ensures product quality, workplace safety, efficient organization, and adherence to established processes. It requires technical expertise, the ability to perform core skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining smooth operations. This position starts at $18.00 per hour. There is an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts.
The Operator II is responsible for overseeing the process and managing the work area, including tasks from the mezzanines to the groover, as well as handling and reloading raw materials onto the production line for the production line, in a 24/7 environment. This role ensures product quality, workplace safety, efficient organization, and adherence to established processes. It requires technical expertise, the ability to perform core skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining smooth operations.
Both play a critical role in supporting and sustaining the fluidity of the product lines. All Operators start at a level 1 and have the opportunity to advance.

The individual in this role must demonstrate mastery in the following areas:
* **Writing Skills** : Write clear, simple sentences, complete technical forms, and apply basic math concepts like estimation and spatial reasoning.
Professional Skills
Basic Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a continuous manufacturing environment.
· Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
· English, reading, and writing skills are preferred for career advancement, including the ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedural documents.
· Strong communication skills are required to effectively interact with Production Leads, Supervisors, and Extruder Operators.
