Objectives of this Role
Operate heavy equipment with the highest priority of achieving accuracy
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Must be able to operate heavy equipment proficiently and with minimal supervision once trained
Interact with inspectors, DOT personnel, and Engineers as needed
Communicate with operators or supervisor to ensure production runs smoothly
Daily inspection of equipment
Must be mechanically inclined & inspect and maintain equipment schedule
Must be safety conscious in all conditions
Wear P.P.E as required
Skills and Qualifications
Class A Driver’s license with tanker endorsement and good driving record, complete inspections, logs and fuel reports
Ability to make decisions in difficult conditions
Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Knowledge of job specific safety practices

Mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
Ability to work overnight if the project necessitates
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain and dusty environments
Must be able to pass drug screening
Must be able to stand on concrete for long periods of time
Ability to maneuver on or around equipment & be able to get under equipment to work on it
