Exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager interested in helping shape and drive a strong team of manufacturing professionals in a growing and profitable production environment investing in new technology. True opportunity to put your stamp on the engineering culture. You can lead a team of 10-12 engineers with strong individual skills in Controls and Manufacturing Engineering. This role will have responsibility for long-term strategy in engineering, leading interface with Operations, and control budget for the team. However, this isn’t a “Lead from an Ivory Tower” type of manager opening. You won’t need to carry a wrench, but this is for a leader who enjoys helping his engineers with projects and who is happy being out on the floor with the team. Opportunity to work closely with the team to identify and support individual career growth objectives.

FDA regulated, and clean production environment to work in. Fast paced. Lots of capital investments happening in automation and new technology. We don’t need someone who knows specific manufacturing processes or with specific industry experience, but are instead looking someone with a well-rounded engineering and leadership background who can apply their experience to learn and understand new processes and people, and make a high-level impact.

Salary is pretty flexible for the right person. Targeting base in the $125-150K area (flexible) with a strong bonus opportunity and excellent benefits.

REQUIRED:

• Engineering or Technology related degree
• 4+ years of experience managing an engineering team.
• Well-rounded background in Manufacturing and knowledge of modern best practices in things like continuous improvement and optimizing a production environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interface with people across production roles, operations leadership, and executives.
• Experience with large capital investment projects in manufacturing.
