Job Summary

We are seeking a Cafeteria Server to join our team! As a Cafeteria Sever, you will be working in the cafeteria each day to prepare the food portions, set food out for students, work behind the counter to create made-to-order meals, assist students with meal selections. You will also maintain a clean, safe working environment by bussing dishes, maintaining salad bar and grab-go areas, cleaning food preparation areas, and keeping the cafeteria itself clean and tidy. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with technology and is comfortable working on your feet for long stretches of time.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and portioning food for the cafeteria

Restock food and cafeteria items as needed

Serve customers as needed, and assist them in finding what they are looking for

Maintain a clean work environment at all times

Follow all food safety guidelines

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills

Familiarity with best practices when it comes to food safety desired

The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Must be willing to submit background check

Available Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

Fluent English/Spanish and or Mandarin Chinese a plus

Must be able to lift 50lbs
