    **Hourly Rate: **$19.21 - $21.63 (depending on experience)

    Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

    **FLSA Status: **Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full-Time

    J OB SUMMARY

    Responsible for supporting inside sales representatives by entering orders into appropriate systems and coordinating shipping between Inside Sales and Warehouse.

    ESSE NTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the inside sales team through order entry
    • Transfer date from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards or optical scanners
    • Type in data provided directly from customers
    • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
    • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
    • Update existing data
    • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files, as requested
    • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
    • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

    May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned

    QUA LIFICATIONS

    • Strong computer skills; ability to learn and understand the systems in use for accounting and inventory in order to perform job tasks in an automated environment

    K NOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Strong Computer proficiency
    • Proficiency using e-mail, the internet, Microsoft Office, and other computer tools
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to work at fast pace
    • Attention to detail
    • Problem solving abilities
    • Good communication skills

    ED UCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • High school or equivalent GED certification.
    • Previous sales experience in a related environment or a college degree in business or a related field of study preferred

    BON US/COMMISSION PLAN

    No bonus or commission plan.

    E MPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

    • Introductory Review -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employee has sufficiently met and performed the job requirements, and will indicate whether employment will continue
    • Annual Reviews – Employee will be given a formal regular annual review, which assesses productivity and demonstrated business skills and accomplishments for the previous period.

    W ORK SC HEDULE

    Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You are required to be at your workstation from the start of your shift to the completion of your shift Monday through Friday.

  • Qualifications
    1. Possesses effective oral communication skills.
    2. Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Surgical Technician.
    3. Skill and ability to concentrate and monitor instrument, sharps, and sponge counts.
    4. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
    5. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
