Job Description

There is a current opening for a Position Title. This position will perform a variety of tasks necessary for the Administers of all aspects of company sponsored employee benefits, local, state and federal leave programs and wellness initiatives. Ensure benefits offered are competitive and in compliance with all applicable regulations.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

· Administers company Medical / Vision, Dental, FSA, 401k, Flexible spending accounts, Life Insurance & ADD and COBRA programs.

· Determine eligibility for medical, dental, and life insurance, and short- and long-term disability programs.

· Engage with providers to support Company goal to ensure benefits offered support recruitment and retention.

· Consult with and advise employees on eligibility for insurance, hospitalization and other benefits, amounts of coverage and claim procedures/problems.

· Serve as Administrator on Committee for Oregon Freeze Dry, LLC Savings and Retirement Plan.

· Develop and implement wellness strategies/initiatives. To provide value to employees, improve health outcomes. and reduce company cost for annual medical spend.

· Ensure accurate and timely compilation of Company information for preparation of 5500s, and annual audits.

· Analyze Company experience, services, coverage/options and costs, and recommends enhancements and/or changes to improve programs or ensure compliance with legal requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Requires an associate’s degree in related area or advanced certification in the administration of employees benefits programs.

· 2-5 years’ experience in Benefits & Wellness administration required.

· Retirement Plan administration experience preferred.

· Must hold current, valid drivers’ license and provide proof of current automobile insurance

· Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required.

· Demonstrated strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

SALARY

$53,000 - $71,000 (DOE)
