    A DAY IN THE LIFE

    As an orientation coordinator, you'll be crucial in welcoming and integrating new drivers into our team. Your day will be filled with meaningful interactions with diverse personalities. Your responsibilities are to ensure that we remain highly organized and professional as well as conduct a process that ensures our new hires feel supported and welcomed to the team.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • New Hire Onboarding — Develop and maintain an environment that ensures new drivers are welcomed to the company and excited about their new careers.
    • Collaboration and Communication — Effectively collaborate with internal teams and new drivers to ensure strong lines of communication are present.
    • Class Organization — Organize orientation weekly to ensure that all classes run smoothly and on time. Additionally, ensure that we effectively plan alterations in scheduling during holidays and other situations that require adjustments.
    • Onboarding Processing — Ensure that all onboarding tasks (e.g. paperwork, pre-employment testing, etc.) are successfully completed for each class.
    • Documentation and Employee Entry — Ensure that all records are accurately updated in the transportation management (TMS) and HR systems for each new driver.
    • Orientation Review — Regularly review orientation materials and processes to ensure effectiveness and compliance with laws and regulations.

    YOUR SKILLSET

    • Excellent Communication — Demonstrable communication skills and experience in a position where your ability to communicate and collaborate was directly correlated to your success.
    • Attention to Detail — Proven ability to pay close attention to detail in a position where oversight leads to missing important and relevant information.
    • Time Management — Effective time management skills with the ability to not only manage your time but also manage the time of presenters and new drivers.
    • Organization — Highly effective organizational skills and experience in a role where you regularly organized competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one (1) year of experience in a position where your ability to perform duties as expected required you to stay organized and collaborate effectively with others.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least one (1) year of experience speaking publicly to groups of 10 or more.
    • At least one (1) year of experience in the transportation field.
    • At least one (1) year of experience leading a classroom environment.

    SALARY AND SCHEDULE

    • Salary — $25.00 -$29.81 per hour, decided based on experience.
    • Schedule — Full-time; On-Site; Monday to Friday.
