We are a modern and fun orthodontic office in South Orange County dedicated to creating beautiful smiles and providing exceptional orthodontic care to our patients. Our team is committed to delivering quality service in a friendly and welcoming environment.
We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Orthodontic Assistant (OA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our AMAZING team and contribute to the success of our patients' orthodontic journeys! Our office is looking for a team player who has a five star attitude and is willing to grow with us.
Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Some dental experience or knowledge required

Key Responsibilities:
Chairside Assistance: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist orthodontist during procedures, including adjustments, banding, bonding, debonding, bonding Invisalign attachments, and appliance placements
Patient Care: Provide patient education on oral hygiene, proper appliance care, and treatment progress. Comfort and reassure patients during their appointments.
Records Management: Maintain accurate patient records, including digital imaging, charting, and treatment notes.
Radiography: Take and process X-rays and 3D scans as needed, ensuring patient safety and compliance with radiation safety protocols.
Lab Assistance: Assist in the construction of orthodontic retainers when needed.
Sterilization: Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed at all times.
Scheduling: Help coordinate patient appointments and assist in maintaining a smooth patient flow
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Some dental experience or knowledge required
Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and procedures.
Radiography certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Compassion and empathy for patients' orthodontic experiences.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
